Winter Wellness Program 2027 – Check Those Backpacks!

It's almost time for one of our favorite Lakeway traditions — Winter Wellness Program 2027!

Today, Friday, October 23rd, students in Grades 1–6 will be bringing home their Winter Wellness Program information packets and registration forms!

Our Winter Wellness Program offers students the opportunity to explore exciting activities, learn new skills, and enjoy wintertime fun with their classmates and community partners.

Program Dates: January 5, 12, 19, 26, and February 2 and 9, 2027.

WINTER PROGRAM SPOTS FILL UP FAST!

Please review the packet with your student and return your registration form AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to give your child the best chance of securing their favorite activity!

Important Reminders:

Students must select THREE activity choices.

Activities are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Forms and applicable payments are due Monday, November 9th.

Spots are not reserved until completed forms and required payments are received.

Students without completed registrations by the deadline will be placed in an in-house program.

From skiing and snowboarding to swimming, gymnastics, rock climbing, STEM, arts and crafts, and more, there's something exciting for everyone!

Kindergarten Families: Our youngest Leopards will enjoy their own in-house Winter Wellness Program with fun activities planned just for them!

Limited scholarship assistance may be available. Please contact Assistant Principal Sheryl Louis at [email protected] or (603) 444-2831 with questions.

Check those backpacks tonight, Lakeway families! We can't wait for another wonderful winter of adventure, learning, and fun!

Tuesday, October 13th was National M&M Day, and the Lakeway staff celebrated with a little friendly competition, a whole lot of laughter, and some serious lung power!

Staff members stopped by the front office to take on our M&M Minute to Win It Challenge! The mission? Use only a straw and their breath to move those colorful candies from one spot to another as quickly as possible. Sounds easy, right? Think again!

There was plenty of cheering, determination, questionable techniques, and some pretty hilarious moments along the way!

Sometimes the best part of a school day is taking a few minutes to laugh, have fun, and enjoy the amazing people we work with!

Check out some pictures of our Lakeway staff getting competitive, one M&M at a time!

October is National Principals Month, and Lakeway has TWO incredible leaders worth celebrating!

This month, we are proud to recognize Lakeway Elementary School Principal Melanie Harkless and Assistant Principal Sheryl Louis for their outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and years of service to our students, staff, families, and the Littleton community.

Their commitment to making Lakeway a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive does not go unnoticed. From the everyday challenges to the big celebrations, their leadership, compassion, and dedication help make Lakeway the special place it is today.

Lakeway Elementary School and the Littleton School District are incredibly grateful for all they have contributed over the years. We are proud of their accomplishments, appreciative of their continued commitment, and excited for all that the future holds under their leadership.

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Harkless and Mrs. Louis during National Principals Month! Thank you both for all you do for our Lakeway Leopards and the entire Littleton school community!
