Livingston Student Firefighters putting in a little work this weekend! Chainsaw training turned into a community project involving the Welcome sign on Highway 28 East! Supervised by Assistant Chief Larkin, these student firefighters spent time learning the finer points of using a chainsaw while cleaning up around the sign!
Livingston Fire Department offers a Student Firefighter program for students interested in serving the community! Scholarship and Stipend money helps students while they help the community! We also get new Student Firefighter enrolled in courses through the Alabama Fire College to give them the knowledge and training needed when the alarm sounds.
Pictured are some of our Student firefighters who attend Marion Military Institute (MMI) and come over to help serve the City of Livingston. Dedication and commitment.
If you are interested in volunteering to serve the community, reach out or stop by today! There’s a place for everyone and plenty of training opportunities available!
