The Overton County Recovery Court is designed to facilitate the treatment and rehabilitation of non-violent misdemeanor drug defendants who have been deemed eligible by the Recovery Court Team. The Recovery Court Team is a collaboration of different agencies including the District Attorney's Office, the District Public Defender's Office, the Recovery Court Administration, probation, treatment providers and the General Sessions Court Judge. The Recovery Court's goal is to help individuals overcome their addiction and to eliminate or reduce the growing financial cost associated with drug related crimes and incarceration.

🍁 JOIN US FOR OUR 5TH ANNUAL RECOVERY RALLY! 🍁

We are excited to invite everyone to the Overton County Recovery Court’s 5th Annual Recovery Rally!

Recovery is about more than overcoming addiction. It’s about rebuilding lives, restoring families, creating opportunities, and strengthening our community. ❤️

This year’s rally is about bringing our community together to celebrate recovery, connect people with valuable resources, and remind those who are struggling that recovery is possible and no one has to walk that road alone.

⏰ 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Joe L. Evins Community Center – Livingston, TN

We will have food, raffles, family fun, and many community organizations on hand offering valuable services and resources, including:

⚖️ Legal Aid Society – Free legal advice clinic for civil matters

🤝 Community Partners – Information about local programs, services, and support

💼 Career Services – Employment assistance, training, and resources

❤️ Free Health Screenings – An opportunity to learn more about your health

Whether you are in recovery, supporting someone who is, or simply want to be part of a stronger, healthier community, we would love to see you there!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in court today to celebrate this special accomplishment. We are especially grateful to our elected officials who took the time to be there and show their support for Jackie, our participants, and the Recovery Court program.

Having the support of our community means more than you know. Thank you for showing up and supporting the work we are doing to change lives in Overton County!
