🎃Pumpkins, Learning, and a Little Taste of Fall at CGE! 🧡

A big thank-you to Texas Farm Bureau for visiting the 4th graders at CGE and sharing a fun, hands-on lesson all about pumpkins! Our students learned about these fall favorites and got to put their learning into action by making pumpkin pie… and the BEST part was getting to taste it, too!
We love giving our students opportunities to learn, explore, and make delicious memories along the way!

📣 A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our Dads on Duty, athletes, and band members! 💚🤍

Every Friday, these amazing role models show up to greet our students with smiles, high-fives, and encouragement. The impact they make is so special! Their presence reminds our students how important it is to have positive role models who support, encourage, and inspire them each day. 🦁🙌

We also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our incredible PTO for everything they do to support our school, our staff, and our students! Your time, dedication, and generosity never go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have such an amazing group of supporters behind our school! 💚

It takes a village, and we are so thankful for ours! 🦁💚🤍

We started our day with Dads on Duty welcoming our students, and our Cedar Grove PTO brought the Spirit Store for some extra Friday fun! A special shout-out to our Livingston High School students who joined us as greeters this morning. We love seeing our community come together for our kids! 💚

Then we gathered for our Principal’s Assembly, where we talked about some important life lessons:
⭐ Believing in ourselves
🚽 Making respectful and responsible choices in the restroom
✋ Making safe choices when we are angry
🚫 Understanding that threats are no joke—our words matter
🗣️ Asking an adult for help when we need it

Our students practiced thinking through real-life situations and making choices that help keep themselves and others safe.

It was a morning full of school spirit, community, learning, and growing together!

Together We ROAR! 🐾💚
