🚧 BENNETT STREET RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSURE 🚧

The Bennett Street Railroad Crossing will be closed to vehicle traffic Tuesday, October 6 at 8am, through Thursday, October 8 at 4pm, for upgrades and repairs.

In partnership with BNSF Railway, crews will install concrete panels around the railroad tracks and resurface the pavement surrounding the crossing.

Please use alternate routes during the closure, including:
• Main/B Street underpass
• Fifth Street crossing

Please allow additional travel time.

PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT:
Verizon is experiencing issues with their 911 service in our area. Verizon customers that dial 911 cannot hear dispatch and dispatch cannot hear the caller. The 911 routing is working sporadically. This may cause dispatch to intermittently not see the address or phone number. If that information does come through, dispatch can call back on an admin line and speak to the caller. There is no set time when this issue will be resolved.
If you have an emergency and use Verizon, please call our non-emergency line: 406-222-2050 if 911 does not work for you.

The Livingston Police Department has been made aware of an email scam targeting individuals and businesses in our community.

The emails appear to come from someone you know and include a link. Clicking the link may expose your personal or financial information, which can then be used to open accounts or transfer funds.

• Don’t click unexpected links, even from known contacts.
• Confirm the link with the sender before opening it.
• Check the sender’s full email address carefully.
• Never provide passwords, banking information, or verification codes through an emailed link.

When in doubt, don’t click—verify first.

🚨 INFORMATION WANTED 🚨

The Montana Highway Patrol is seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred on I-90 westbound near mile marker 332 outside of Livingston in Park County.

The crash occurred between approximately 8:40 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. this evening. A vehicle that may have been involved did not remain at the scene. The vehicle is possibly described as a pickup.
