To those who are and those who were, THANK YOU!
Anthony Hardee is now the Vice President of Caldwell County Sheriff's Association.
I would like to thank everyone for showing up at Commissioners Court today. I would also like to thank the citizens that attended to support us and the citizens and elected officials that spoke on our behalf.
It would be a good thing to have a very big turnout again for Commissioners Court on Monday 09/26/11. We also need a big turnout of citizens. (Please make sure that the citizens get the seats in the court room and we will stand in the hallway if we need to). I would like to say however that it is in our best interest as employees at this point for us not to speak in commissioners court. The budget is already written and it will be voted on. The commissioners have already been made aware of our situation obviously from the last Commissioners Court that we attended as a group. We need to be seen but not heard at this meeting with one exception. If the commissioners give us a salary increase no matter how much the increase is we need to say Thank You. We will continue to do what is neccessary to accomplish our mission of being paid a fair wage but we need to conduct ourselves in a tactful, respectful, and professional mannor while we are engaging in activities to accomplish this mission.
A reminder for everyone that Monday September 26th @ 9AM in the Scott Annex Building is the next meeting and the meeting where the Court will vote on the budget. Please come.
Thank You to everyone who helped with the golf tournement, played in the golf tournement, and donated food for the golf tournement.
