Come out and have a real good time raising money for this amazing organization! They have worked with Olivia for over 2 years now, helping her build confidence in herself and giving her a sense of community and inclusion like no other. Our family has been personally impacted but what they do and now you can come out and have some fun supporting that mission!

✏️ Help Local Kids Start the School Year Strong! ❤️

The Village of New Lenox, through the Safe Community Coalition, is proud to serve as an official donation drop-off location for Nadine's Blue Butterfly's 5th Annual Back-to-School Shopping Spree, benefiting children and families affected by domestic violence and other forms of abuse.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, this incredible program has already helped more than 300 children receive the school supplies, hygiene items, and essentials they need to begin the school year with confidence.

We're now collecting new school supplies, hygiene items, and individually packaged snacks and water. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

🗓️ Donations are needed by July 31.

🤩The drop box is located at Village Hall (1 Veterans Parkway) near our 2nd floor reception desk.

We are very excited to announce our 5th Annual Back to School Shopping Spree, Sunday August 2nd!

A HUGE shout out to New Lenox Safe Community Coalition for hosting a Blue Butterfly Bin and collecting donations for the event of school supplies and hygiene items!

Happy Friday! We are so happy to share that the Rummage Sale Fundraiser raised over $900 for the 5th Annual Back to School Shopping Spree next month! That will go to purchase backpacks, school supplies and hygiene items to children effected by domestic violence and varying forms of abuse.

We had 10 registered families totally 43 people that got to "shop" for needed items such as housewares, clothing, decor, toys and books for Free!

To keep the momentum (and since I haven't moved anything back to storage, lol!) we are going to have another Fundraiser and client event next weekend!

It's my favorite time of the year - GARAGE SALE SEASON!

We are happy to announce that our 5th Annual Back to School Yard Sale Fundraiser is just around the corner!

Decor, books, housewares and more - we will have something for everyone as well as providing FREE items to our registered families!

Of our 3 Annual "Shopping Sprees", this one is by far our favorite as it opens up our impact even more to go just beyond necessities to help these families on their paths to healing.

Over the last 4 years we have invited over 60 families to attend this event and it has been made possible by all the AMAZING donors we have.
