The Lodi Optimist Club will host a Wisconsin Assembly District 42 candidate forum on Tuesday, October 27, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Lodi High School.
Candidates Maureen McCarville (D-DeForest) and Keith Miller (R-Columbus) have both confirmed their participation. Each candidate will provide opening and closing remarks and respond to questions from audience members.
The forum is scheduled during the school day to provide our students with an opportunity to see the democratic process firsthand and learn more about civic engagement. Members of the public and media are also welcome to attend.
The Lodi Optimist Club and School District of Lodi have partnered to host candidate forums since 1998. We appreciate this longstanding partnership and the Optimist Club’s continued commitment as a “Friend of Youth” to supporting civic education and engagement.
We encourage community members to join us for this opportunity to hear directly from both candidates.
