🚌🧡 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK | OCTOBER 19–23 💛🖤
This week, Logan County Schools joins communities across the nation in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week, October 19–23!
Every day, our school bus drivers work hard to safely transport our most precious cargo — our children. We ask all motorists, students, parents, and community members to help us keep our students safe.
🚸 Remember these important safety tips:
🛑 Stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing and stop arms are extended, as required by law.
🐢 Slow down and watch carefully for children near bus stops and school buses.
👀 Never pass a stopped school bus illegally.
🚌 Remind students to stay alert, follow their driver's instructions, and wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before boarding or exiting.
🤝 Be patient and courteous around school buses.
A few extra seconds can save a life!
Our mission is simple: Every Student. Every Stop. Every Day. Safely.
Let's work together to protect our students and make sure every child gets to school and back home safely. Thank you to our dedicated Logan County Schools bus drivers and transportation staff for all they do to keep our children safe!
