Our Litter Control Officers have been hard at work addressing illegal dumping sites and meeting with property owners where trash and debris have accumulated. These photos highlight just a few of their accomplishments over the past couple of months.

Please remember that open dumping is illegal, and allowing garbage, trash, or junk to accumulate on your property is also a violation of the law. Significant fines may be imposed for either offense.

If you know of someone illegally dumping trash or junk, please contact our office at 304-792-6265. You may remain anonymous when reporting violations. This number can also be used to report litter, junk, or other concerns on private property.

Together, we can help keep our county clean and safe.

The Logan County Solid Waste Authority, in partnership with the Logan County Commission, has recently added an additional litter control officer to help combat litter, garbage, and illegal dumping throughout the county. This addition will allow for greater area coverage and improved response to calls and complaints. Below are some photos highlighting their efforts the past month.
