Do you know someone who is struggling to continue living independently at home?

Maybe they live alone and rely on a neighbor for help. Or perhaps they live with family members who work full-time and can't provide all the support they need.
The Medicaid Aging Waiver Program may be able to help.

This free program provides case management through the Bear River Area Agency on Aging at BRAG, assistance with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility within the home. It also offers homemaking services and caregiver respite care.

To qualify, individuals must:
• Be age 65 or older
• Qualify for Medicaid
• Need assistance with personal care activities

We also offer similar in-home services for individuals who do not qualify for Medicaid. Call to learn more!

We've noticed a lot of questions and confusion about Medicare's Annual Wellness Visit and whether Medicare covers preventive care.

One common misconception is that the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit is the same as a traditional physical exam. While they're different, the Annual Wellness Visit plays an important role in helping you stay healthy by reviewing health risks, medications, preventive screenings, and creating a personalized prevention plan.
