Valley Metal Recycling

09/08/2026

Today is a bittersweet day at Valley Metal Recycling. It's Paulette's 17th anniversary with us, and it also marks the start of her final week, as this Friday will be her last day in the office.

For 17 years, Paulette has been the friendly face who greets you and helps you. So many of you know and love her, and she's been an outstanding friend.

Come by this Friday to give her a warm goodbye and show her some love.

We'll have hot dogs all day for customers to help celebrate.

Paulette, we are going to miss you. Thank you for 17 amazing years!

Huge thank you to everyone who recycled with us during Earth Week last week.

Together, our community recycled over 1 million pounds of metal in just one week.

Because that metal goes back into producing new materials, it reduces the need for mining and energy-intensive processing.

That prevented about 11 million kg of CO₂ emissions, which is equivalent to taking about 2,500 cars off the road for a full year.

Check out the video below to see what happens to your cans after you recycle them.
