IMPORTANT TIME SENSITIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: Now that final pavement of the entire roadway width is completed on a portion of the High Range Road-phase 1 water project, and the water line extension on Old Derry Road, we will be stripping the lane lines.

Please be patient if you encounter our crews and always assume the paint to be wet.

Please share this quickly for as much notification as possible. Crews will begin as quickly as temperatures have risen. Likely mid to late morning and/or close to noontime but could be early afternoon as well.

For those of you that live in the Kings or use Otterson Road as a cut through, you’ve probably never really been fond of the stone wall on the South corner at Hardy Road.

Well a couple weeks ago our crews rented the appropriate machine to get out there and relocate/rebuild the wall in a manner which provides a much better line of site and allows for better snow storage on the shoulder come winter time.

In preparation for this project We also had some trees and vegetation removed. We’d also like to thank the homeowners of that corner for working with us to a happy and amenable finished product.

Most importantly we’re proud of the workmanship our crew displayed on this project. It takes a high level of patience and commitment to build a straight and sound rock wall. We thank them for a job well done!

Our Deputy Director of Public Works, James Danis and our OPM Consultant group PMA, represented by Yanilez Garcia Ruiz are having a great time at Londonderry’s 5th annual Senior Expo at the Londonderry High school gym today!

Come on in to see all the exhibitions and check out our table to learn all about your favorite DPW and a potential exciting future opportunity to build what would be our first DPW facility!!

They’ll be there till 1:00pm today! We hope to see you soon!

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Please share far and wide!!! This years Household Hazardous Waste Day (HHHWD) will be held at our DPW property located at 120 High Range Road. Typically, it has been hosted at LAFA. This year it will NOT BE at LAFA. This is an important change we want to start spreading the news around. So please share as much as possible. Thank you!

As we’re all trying to love our last full day of Summer. We know what is about to come, and sadly it’ll be here before we know it.

So we’re receiving some fresh salt to fill up/stack up our two salt sheds as much as possible.

Although as you can see we’re not quite ready to mix up our salt/sand mix because the old pole barn is being used to store our crack sealer materials for the moment. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyways, enjoy some of the last warm sunny days as you can. 😀
