DACC was proud to be part of the Taste of Soul Family Festival on historic Crenshaw Boulevard! 🐾

At Southern California’s largest free street festival, our team connected with community members to share information about resources that help keep pets healthy and families together, including pet retention services, spay/neuter resources and veterinary care vouchers.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about the resources available to support pets and the people who love them! ❤️

🚨 Red Flag Warning: Check Your Fences! 🐾

Strong winds can damage fencing and create opportunities for pets to escape. Before the winds pick up, take a few minutes to check your yard and make sure your pets are safe!

🐾 Check fences and gates for loose boards, gaps, or damage.
🔒 Make sure gates latch securely.
🐶 Keep pets supervised when outdoors, and bring them inside during high winds whenever possible.
🪪 Make sure your pets have up-to-date identification, just in case.

A quick fence check can help prevent a stressful escape. Stay safe, and keep your furry family members secure!
