Join us Saturday & Sunday, October 10 & 11 at Kennedy Plaza for a festive weekend filled with the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn! 🍁

Storm Update:
The City is closely monitoring the storm. It’s been a powerful slow-moving weather system that we all need to continue to take seriously as the evening progresses.

From flooding to downed trees, our city workforce has been out all day and will continue to address issues throughout the storm as they arise. Thank you to everyone who is working in challenging and dangerous conditions to keep us safe.

A high wind advisory has been upgraded to a high wind warning for our area and will be in effect until noon on Sunday.

Our next high tide is 8:36pm tonight, followed by Sunday morning at 8:55am. Moderate flooding in low lying areas is expected, though less severe than experienced during this morning's high tide.

We urge everyone to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.

If you need to be on roads and encounter a flooded roadway, please turn around to protect yourself and the property of residents.

Safety Reminder from the Long Beach Police Auxiliary: Please stay off the beach and away from dangerous shorelines during the storm. Strong winds, powerful waves, and coastal flooding can be unpredictable. Stay safe, stay alert, and avoid unnecessary travel.
