Long Beach Soup Kitchen The Long Beach Soup Kitchen is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization established in 1983 to feed hungry people in the Long Beach area.

The Long Beach Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization established in 1983 to feed hungry people in the Long Beach, NY area. Annually we serve more than 6,500 hot meals and provide over 6,500 take-away lunches on our premises. The work of the Long Beach Soup Kitchen is made possible by the caring efforts of more than 50 volunteers who serve a hot meal six days a week to hungry people in the Long Beach community. These dedicated workers pick up food, cook, serve and clean up after every meal. They also work behind the scenes, ordering supplies, acknowledging donations, keeping our books, maintaining our van and offering their technical and creative skills.

The LB Chamber of Commerce donated $2000 to the Long Beach Soup Kitchen. The proceeds were raised by selling bottles of water at their Boardwalk Vendor Fair, June 20 & 21. LBSK is so grateful for their generous support!

Since 2014,  Loving & Learning has been steadily donating & supporting The Long Beach Soup Kitchen.

Pictured here are the PreK students who represent some of the 125 children who attend Loving & Learning Child Care located in Oceanside. The students are very proud to share their collection of 252 cereal boxes being donated as an amazing result of their annual drive for LBSK.

We are so grateful to the students, parents, Colleen & Jen for their incredible outpouring of support.
