If you are returning your ballot via mail, it must be postmarked by Election Day and signed on the envelope!

To ensure your ballot is postmarked by Election Day, mail it at least 5 days before the election! If you are returning it closer to November 3, you can get a hand-stamped postmark from a postal employee inside a USPS Office or return it to any ballot dropbox or vote center.

RAIN ADVISORY ⚠️Long Beach Department of Health & Human Services (LBDHHS) Officer Dr. Cliff Okada has issued a rain advisory for recreational beaches and bays in the City of Long Beach following the rain experienced in the last 24 hours.

🌊🚫After any significant rainfall, unhealthy conditions may result from increased runoff from storm drain outlets and rivers, which eventually reach the City’s beaches. Recreational swimming areas should be avoided for three days following the end of a rainstorm. This advisory will be extended if the rain continues.

State law requires all local public health agencies with recreational swimming areas to notify the public when conditions might affect the health of swimmers. Further information may be obtained from the Health Department’s Water Quality Information Line at 562.570.4199 or online at longbeach.gov/beachwaterquality.

I had the opportunity to visit the East Los Angeles Women’s Center and learn more about the critical services they provide to women, survivors, families, and community members across Los Angeles. 💜

It was inspiring to hear directly from their team about the resources, advocacy, and support they provide to help individuals heal, find stability, and move forward. I’m grateful for the work they continue to do every day and for their commitment to creating safer, stronger, and more supportive communities. 🤝🏽✨

I stood alongside CHIRLA, community leaders, and advocates in the City of Commerce in response to the recent federal operation targeting alleged noncitizen voter registration.

Our communities deserve to feel safe, supported, and heard. At a time when many families are experiencing fear and uncertainty, I want our immigrant communities to know that they are not alone. I remain committed to standing with our families, protecting their rights, and ensuring their voices are heard.

Every eligible voter has the right to participate in our democracy without fear or intimidation. 🗳️ As we approach the November 3 election, I encourage everyone to stay informed about their voting rights and access trusted election resources at http://vote.ca.gov.

I will always stand with our communities. ❤️
