A storm system headed for Southern California will bring widespread rain to the area late tonight through Thursday. There is a chance of thunderstorms with potential for heavy downpours, lightning, strong wind gusts and a very small chance of a brief tornado. Use caution when driving as roads could be slick, ponding water is possible on low lying roads, and heavy rain can reduce visibility.

Have you seen any rain? Scattered showers are moving over LA County. Very dry air below the clouds is likely causing most of the rain to evaporate before it reaches the surface, but let us know if you've seen rain!

More widespread rain is on the way next week 👀🌧
