On Monday evening, community members gathered in the shop classroom to craft blacksmith knives. Starting with a single piece of steel, they shaped the handle and blade, then ground the edge and profile, resulting in small, functional knives ready for everyday use!

Our 8th graders spent yesterday exploring future possibilities at SUNY Plattsburgh's "I've Been Admitted to College" Day!

From touring campus facilities to trying out real-world career skills, it was an inspiring trip. Students stepped behind the news desk on a TV set, recorded podcasts and tackled a creative STEM building challenge together.

Huge thanks to the university for welcoming our students for such a great day of learning and fun!
