Our students are on their way toward meeting their goal to run/walk 100 miles this school year! Morning laps before school are the absolute best way to wake up and get moving. 🌅✨

Our Garden Club students were hard at work the last two weeks! They harvested a beautiful bounty of colorful flowers, channeled their inner florists to arrange some gorgeous bouquets, and got their hands dirty clearing out our garden boxes to get ready for the next season. 🪴🍂

Huge thanks to our amazing young gardeners for keeping our school grounds blooming and beautiful! And thanks to Ms. Kessler and Ms. Ellis for helping them. 💐💚

🏀 What an incredible day at Northridge Elementary! 🏀

Today, our 4th and 5th graders got a special visit from the CU Women’s Basketball team! 🦬💛🖤

The Buffs hosted an awesome basketball clinic, sharing skills, drills, and plenty of high-fives with our students. Our Bengals had absolute blast learning from the pros!

We are incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Baldivia as part of the Northridge Elementary team. She brings joy, creativity, and kindness to our school every day, making our library a truly magical place where students love to read, explore, and learn.

🧸🐾 Today's Community Schools class was full of creativity, laughter, and adorable new friends! Students had a blast building their own stuffed doggies and designing cool outfits to match each pup’s unique personality.

🌱 Northridge students have been busy planting seeds this week! This year we are learning about drought-resistant plants and how they can thrive with less water—an important lesson in sustainability.

We are also learning about a traditional watering method using porous, unglazed clay pots. Students carefully buried the pots near plant roots and filled them with water, learning how this technique slowly releases moisture directly where plants need it most.

It’s amazing to watch our students connect science, nature, and stewardship of the environment right in our own garden beds! 🌿💧

Our 2nd graders had a fantastic day exploring Sandstone Ranch Park! Students searched for bugs, investigated pond life, peered through a telescope, and learned about life on the farm through hands-on activities and exploration.

It was a day full of curiosity, discovery, and fun as students connected their learning to the world around them. We are so grateful for opportunities like these that help bring learning to life! 🌿🔍🐞✨

Our 4th graders had an amazing time exploring Colorado’s rich history at the History Colorado Center! Students participated in interactive exhibits, learned about important moments and people in Colorado history, and experienced hands-on activities that brought their classroom learning to life.

Field trips like this create meaningful connections and unforgettable memories for our students. Thank you to our teachers and chaperones who helped make this experience possible! 💙
