โ Myth: โThe flu shot gives you the flu.โ
โ
Fact: It canโt. The flu vaccine does NOT contain a live virus, which means it cannot give you the flu.
Sometimes your body may feel a little tired or sore afterward - thatโs just your immune system learning how to protect you, not the flu. ๐
Protect your circle. Protect your babies. Protect you.
Flu shots save lives every year. ๐ซถ

๐พ Pregnancy & RSV
Babies under 6 months face the highest risk of RSV hospitalization. Getting an RSV vaccine within weeks 32โ36 of pregnancy during the RSV season, September through January, allows you to pass protective antibodies to baby. These protect them from the day theyโre born, when theyโre most at risk. Talk to your provider. ๐ผ๐ก๏ธ
