How can you aspire to make your poems works of art? Come join our adult community/workshop pf poets and poetry lovers in the inspiring atmosphere of the Longview Museum of Fine Arts to explore the craft of poetry through the discussion of the works of published poets; critiquing each others' poems; and discussing our personal experiences in relation to the craft of our poems.

We have not generated enough interest for meetings. Maybe we will in the future. Instead, for now, I , Kathleen Hart, will take on the role of "The Poetry Doctor" and will provide people with a free 20-minute consultation in which one long-ish or two short poems will be critiqued. Meeting on Saturday, January 12th, 2013, between 1-3 pm, at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts to hash out ideas. Skip February; will begin meeting regularly the fist Saturday of every month beginning in March.
