Gregg County Appraisal District is in the process of mailing out 2026 Notices of Appraised Value. Please review them carefully.

Notice of Delayed Opening Due to Inclement Winter Weather

The Gregg Appraisal District will operate on a delayed schedule tomorrow, January 27, opening at 1:00 p.m. due to adverse winter weather conditions.

Office Closure Notice

Due to inclement weather conditions, the Gregg Appraisal District will be closed on Monday, January 26.

This closure is for the safety of our staff and the public. Please monitor our official communication channels for updates regarding the resumption of normal business operations.

In observance of New Year’s Day, our office will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

We will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

In observance of Christmas, our office will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Friday, December 26, 2025.

Due to an ongoing software conversion, any exemption applications submitted after September 12th have not yet been processed. These applications will be reviewed and forwarded to the tax office as soon as the software conversion is complete.
