Grand Prairie CASA Grand Prairie CASA has provided advocacy to abused and neglected since 2000.

CASA recruits and trains people from within the community to advocate on behalf of children in the courtroom, classroom, and the community. CASAs act as fact finders for juvenile judges by providing them with information gathered from individuals involved in the child’s life, legal documents, social worker’s files, educational, medical, and therapy records. CASAs work directly with the children, family members, school officials, attorney’s, health care providers, and others involved in their lives, then share this information along with their recommendations to the court, so that well-informed decisions can be made regarding the child’s future.

CASA volunteers take the time to listen, build relationships and advocate for children's best interests throughout their time in the court system.
Because every child deserves someone who will listen when they speak and stand up when they need support.

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported and loved — and to have a place they can call home.
This month, we celebrate the families who have opened their hearts and homes through adoption, while also shining a light on the children and youth still waiting for permanency.

Join us for the Grand Prairie CASA Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 3! Bring your appetite and get ready for an evening of delicious chili, games, prizes, and community—all while supporting the children served by Grand Prairie CASA.
