Lopez Solid Waste is OPEN regular hours today, October 12: 11am to 3pm.

TIOLI is a "free store" at the Lopez Dump where we share reusable items, strengthening our island's circular economy and reducing our collective waste. Before you visit, please review our hours and policies below!

Looking for corks!

Do you have a collection of corks that needs a second life? We'd love about 100 of them to build a DIY cork board at the dump, where we can post info about upcoming events and other dump-related news!

We're looking for the standard size, like the corks pictured below. We can coordinate pick-up or drop-off if you message us here or email [email protected].

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped remove ~346 pounds of litter from our shared beaches, trails, and roadways!

Last Saturday's Great Islands Clean-Up was a *spectacular* success. We always love this opportunity to come back together after the busy season and tidy up our shared home.

Great Islands Clean-Up is *THIS* Saturday!

On Saturday, September 26, island neighbors will come together to clean up our shared beaches, trails, and roadways. Join us!

10–11am: Check-in at Lopez Village Park, pick up supplies, pick a route, and share a cup of coffee. Then head out to clean up!

12–2pm: Drop off litter at the Dump for *free* following signs to "GICU." We'll set up a special weigh zone to measure everything we collect together, and county-wide!

Three more weeks of summer hours! Through the end of September the dump will be open Friday to Monday, 10am to 3pm.

Then, starting in October, we'll return to off-peak ("regular") hours: 11am to 3pm.
