Halloween Fun at Lorenzo ISD! 👻

We are excited for a fun-filled Friday with our Hornets! We have two exciting activities planned for Friday, October 30!

PUMPKIN WALK & DECORATING CONTEST

We are bringing back our Pumpkin Walk and expanding it to include ALL grade levels, PK–12!

Students can bring their decorated pumpkins to school on Wednesday, October 28, or Thursday, October 29.

📍 Elementary Students: Drop off at the elementary office.

📍 Secondary Students: Drop off at the high school office.

Judging will take place Friday morning, with prizes awarded in different grade-level divisions and categories!

Pumpkins should be decorated, NOT carved, and must be school-appropriate.

All pumpkins must be taken home on Friday, October 30.

ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT – FRIDAY STARTING AT 2:00 PM!

Our annual Trunk or Treat will begin at approximately 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30!

REMINDER, LORENZO COMMUNITY!

Join us next Thursday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lorenzo ISD Auditorium for our Community Information Meeting regarding the upcoming 2026 Bond and Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE).

We will have representatives available to share information and answer questions:

Lorenzo ISD Board of Trustees – Election overview and district planning process.

MWM Architects – Facility needs, proposed projects, and improvements

Government Capital – Bond financing, tax-rate impact, and funding considerations

This is a great opportunity to learn more about both propositions before the November 3 election.

We encourage all community members to attend, ask questions, and become informed voters!
