Mark your calendars, Summer Reading 2026 is almost here!

From June 13 through August 8, we invite you to "Plant a Seed, Read" with us during this year's Summer Reading program. This time around, you can earn prizes by reading books, attending library programs, completing creative challenges, and more!
To sign up, stop by any LBPL location to pick up a physical tracker, or virtually log your progress at longbeach.beanstack.org.

Join us on Saturday, June 13 to officially kick off the celebration with these special performances:
-11 AM: Michael Rayner’s juggling comedy show @ BJK Main
-12:15 PM: Christopher T. Magician @ Los Altos Neighborhood Library
-3 PM: Christopher T. Magician @ Mark Twain Neighborhood Library

Summer Reading is free and for all ages 🌱
