What’s a reallocator? A certified food superhero. 🚛 ❤️

Every Day Action’s reallocators are the heart of our mission, volunteers and contractors who rescue surplus food from donors all over LA and hand-deliver it to those who need it most. Through our Film Industry Driver Program, we also provide paid opportunities to hardworking PAs and background actors, many of whom save food from 4-5 locations a day!

This is not trash. It is FOOD. When we have access to it and others do not, it is our responsibility to share it. ❤️

We work seamlessly with each production and donor to arrange pickups of excess meals. We travel with each production daily and can accommodate events both large and small - lasting one day or months at a time. Don’t let your gourmet food go to waste, join us in saving food from landfills while fighting food insecurity. 🥗🚛

On May 14, Mary was honored at Orange Coast College’s 67th Honors Night as the recipient of the Vallera-Rickerson Family Scholarship. 💫 This award was presented by her Art History professor, Dr. Irini Rickerson, in recognition of Mary’s outstanding art portfolio and her humanitarian work, including her time spent with us at Every Day Action.⁣

Every Day Action in ACTION 🚛 In response to the recent wildfires in Altadena and The Palisades, we hosted a free store filled with essential items, clothing, furniture, and more for those affected.

This year, we’ve delivered nearly 1,400 meals, over 2,600 pounds of food to individuals in Hope the Mission’s Employment Services Program in Pacoima 🥗📦⁣
⁣
And we’re continuing to build and distribute essential kits for our unhoused neighbors across LA Thanks to a new collaboration with SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, we’re expanding this program to reach even more folks in need.⁣ ❤️
