Today is the official start of the Atlantic hurricane season.🌀
The forecast might predict fewer storms this year, but it only takes one landfall to disrupt a community.
Our Greyshirts are trained, our gear is staged, and Team Rubicon is ready to roll the moment disaster strikes.
The best time to prepare for a storm is before it forms. Ensure your household is ready by checking out our expert-approved 2026 Hurricane Preparation Checklist: https://trusa.co/4o3yuBx

Historic flooding in mid-April devastated communities across northern Michigan, forcing families from their homes and leaving many without flood insurance or a clear path to recovery.
Our Greyshirt volunteers stepped up immediately, diving into communities to provide critical muck-out and debris removal services.
Incident Commander Colleen shared how inspiring it was to watch the team unite on the ground:
"I was so proud to have been able to lead a group of people from all walks of life—military, first responders, and kickass civilians—all focused on one common goal: making a difference to the homeowners of Cadillac."

When disaster strikes, Greyshirts don’t hesitate, even on a holiday weekend.
Over Memorial Day weekend, a major chemical spill in Garden Grove, CA, forced the evacuation of 50,000 residents. With just 30 minutes notice, 20 local Greyshirt volunteers rapidly deployed to set up two emergency shelters.
Bravo Zulu to our Greyshirts for their quick response and dedication to stepping up when their community needed them most. Team Rubicon is continuing to support local authorities and partners as this situation unfolds.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Tonight, the American Music Awards is dedicating a special part of their broadcast to honor our nation's heroes, featuring Team Rubicon as an official partner. Tune in live at 8 ET | 5 PT on CBSTV and Paramount+.

The Atlantic hurricane season officially kicks off on June 1st, and global weather patterns are throwing us a curveball. According to the National Weather Service, climate indicators are pointing toward a strong El Niño developing later this year.
While El Niño can sometimes suppress the number of Atlantic storms, it substantially raises the risk for rapid-intensification typhoons in the Pacific.
When Super Typhoon Sinlaku hit the Northern Mariana Islands just last month, our rapidly deployed medical teams and field partners treated 750+ patients to provide critical care right where the community needed it most.
Whether it's a hurricane on the East Coast or a super typhoon in the Pacific, we are built to respond, built to adapt, and always ready.

When historic flooding hit Western Washington in December 2025, the impact was immediate and devastating. A series of storms pushed rivers way past their limits, stressed infrastructure, and forced widespread evacuations.
Team Rubicon quickly spun up two operations and four service projects across Western Washington to tackle the damage. But a disaster of this scale isn't solved overnight.
True to our mission, Greyshirts have repeatedly returned to the hardest-hit areas, refusing to let anyone fall through the cracks. We don’t just show up, we make a lasting impact.

The road to recovery isn't a sprint, it's a marathon.
For Miss Charlene, the journey back home wasn't a matter of weeks or months. Years after Hurricane Ida hit, Miss Charlene is finally living in a fully fixed, safe home.
Her journey is a powerful reminder of what "long-term recovery" actually means. It’s the quiet, vital work that happens long after the storm passes, ensuring no one gets left behind.
Join us in celebrating this incredible milestone. Welcome home, Miss Charlene!

To the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen serving across the globe: Happy Armed Forces Day.
At Team Rubicon, we know that the "will to serve" doesn't end when you take off the uniform. Today, we celebrate the men and women currently standing the watch. Their dedication to duty, resilience, and selfless service is the same foundation that drives our Greyshirts to step into the arena when disaster strikes.
Whether you're currently downrange or preparing for the next mission, we salute your commitment to something greater than yourself.

When we think of disaster response, we often picture the immediate aftermath: first aid for storm-related injuries. But for many survivors of Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the challenge was maintaining the care they were already relying on.
In this photo, one of our medical volunteers is providing essential care to a mother-to-be. Her health needs didn't stop when the storm hit, but the resources she relied on became significantly harder to reach.
We make sure that those with ongoing medical needs aren't left behind in the wreckage, and that a disaster doesn't stand in the way of life-saving, everyday medicine.

As part of our Long-Term Recovery Program, we’ve been working hard to turn "before" into a beautiful "after" for Miss Charlene, who had been living in a home damaged by Hurricane Ida.
From structural repairs to the finishing touches, Miss Charlene has returned to a safe and secure home.
The long-term recovery process isn't just about fixing houses; it’s about restoring peace of mind.
See the transformation! 👇
