Originating in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008, Filipinos For Obama (FFO) sought to create a national Filipino American voter mobilization for then Presidential candidate, Barack Obama. In a few short months, FFO reached out to approximately 25,000 voters throughout the country and had the highest voter-to-voter contact among Asian American and Pacific Islander ethnic groups.
