May 7 is County Day of Prayer.

When Congress passed a joint resolution in 1952 establishing a National Day of Prayer, President Harry S. Truman stated, “In times of national crisis when we are striving to strengthen the foundations of peace and security we stand in special need of divine support.”

Today, we join people of all faiths across LA County to reflect on shared values including compassion, unity, and service & honor the diversity of beliefs held by County residents.
