As a part of their “music making” class study, our students created paper maracas! They folded paper plates into halves, added pasta shells inside, decorated their maracas, and played musical sounds together.🪇🎶🎵🎤

🥁(VPA 2) Music: Through this music project, the children engaged in segments of musical activities by making musical sounds using their voice, instruments, or classroom supplies.

As part of this month’s earth day celebration activities, the students planted their own fruits and vegetables in our outdoor nature area!🪏🌱🌻🍇 They carefully gathered soil and placed seeds into pots, then watered them and displayed them outside of their classrooms for them to grow. As they planted together, they learned the importance of cultivating a garden, caring for plants, and how they can take care of our planet!🌍☺️

Our students enjoyed a refreshing cup of lemonade prepared by our staff with their friends and teachers today!🍋😊

Room 5’s Stanford Harmony Program!📚🎨✏️ The students read a story in which they learned how to take turns reading, sharing and listening to their peers. Afterwards they each drew their favorite moment of the story where they learned more about how to respect others in their classroom!
