Put parenting tip bumper stickers on company vehicles.

Don’t laugh.

The Camarillo, CA nonprofit Advancing Parenting does one thing and one thing only. It gives away bumper stickers that have parenting messages on them. Businesses should put them on their vehicles for two reasons.

#1 When drivers pull up behind these vehicles at stoplights they will read the message and be impressed that the business cares about parenting, and they will remember the company’s name.

#2 Having our bumper stickers on your vehicles is a valuable public service that will benefit children and families.

When drivers and passengers read our bumper stickers they smile, point, and nod. Folks are genuinely pleased that parenting information is being shared in this very public way. There are fifty-three to choose from and they focus on the development of children’s mental health, character, and intellect.

Just one will be read thousands of times!

Some of the tips are quite wordy, but there is plenty of time to read them at stoplights.

GLAAACC is looking for an experienced administrative assistant who is professional & detail-oriented, seeking full-time employment with flexibility to work some evenings. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth operations within GLAAACC while upholding the organization’s mission & adhering to its set standards. This position is also responsible for the clerical, organizational and all other office functions required for running a nonprofit organization. Minimum of 40 hours/week. Salary: $14 - $16/hour DOE.
