Search Investigations

These are most, but not all, of the drone missions I have flown (in addition to ground searching) over 17 individual search days in the search for Monica Reza in the Angeles National Forest. During these missions, we capture imagery using DJI M30T and Autel EVO II 640T V3 drones that is scanned using software such as ADIAT and also reviewed manually by myself and others for any clue to Monica’s whereabouts.

Although the area has been heavily covered by both ground and air teams, I still believe Monica is close to her last known position. In my opinion, the highest-probability areas are west and even northwest of that point, as she may have ascended and then experienced a secondary incident. West is considered a contrarian theory right now since the focus has been south and east, but I find it difficult to imagine that someone with plenty of water would continue descending into what is essentially “nowhere land.” Attempting to contour or even ascend makes more sense to me.

I also believe that the secretive nature of the areas that have been searched, and the lack of information sharing, is absolutely detrimental to finding Monica. Anyone searching should have access to the complete search effort, as this allows for informed discussions about search theory and decision-point analysis.

Thank you to everyone who helped spread awareness about missing 15-year-old Alisa Petrov. She is alive, safe, and in good health. Alisa was located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, last evening when she walked into a police station.

Matthew Menard has been arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for s*x crimes against Alisa Petrov. Also arrested and booked is a third male, Samuel Mitchell, who is also charged with s*x crimes against Alisa.

Another Older Man's 'Sick' Chats Linked to Missing Utah Teen: Cops

I have been retained by the family in the Alisa Petrov missing person case. Alisa was last seen in Provo, UT on 4/21. She asked for assistance buying a ticket to Las Vegas. Later she asked for a ride to Salt Lake City. She was last seen on surveillance in Provo that same day. Anyone with information is urged to call the South Jordan Police Dept. at 801-840-4000

It's now been learned that a 41-year-old Utah man was also chatting explicitly with 15-year-old Alisa Petrov who is still missing. She was last seen in Provo Utah and may be in the Las Vegas area.

Alisa Petrov is still missing. While the hunt continues for Matthew Menard, the accused predator who planned to meet her, we do not know if that meeting ever occurred, and we still don’t know where Alisa is. She remains the top priority. Please help spread awareness.
