Preliminary update from the Vice Chancellor: UCLA Fire department is in contact with LAFD and have indicated there is no current threat to the campus. UCLA is monitoring the situation carefully. Further communications should be coming soon. LAFD believes they will be able to stop the fire at the top of the ridge. 🚨🚨🚨

Statement regarding police brutality and violence against the Black community. We are deeply anguished by the events unfolding, and those of the past, within our country, but we are nonetheless committed to being part of the fight of eradicating inequities and systems of oppression.
