We're closing City parks from the evening of Saturday, April 11 to the morning of Monday, April 13. We know this is a time of the year when many of our families and friends celebrate Easter by getting together outdoors –– but we just can’t take any chances right now. We need to protect our families and our communities from the spread of COVID-19.

2019 Griffith Park Run Half Marathon & 5K

A Half Marathon and 5K road race through iconic Griffith Park / Both courses are USATF Southern California Certified! / All proceeds benefit Los Angeles City Parks / EXPO with music, local vendors and fun for the whole family!

Sunday, January 27, 2019
Half Marathon Start: 7:00 am
5K Start: 8:00 am
EXPO and event space: 6:00 am to 12:00 pm

COST: $80 Half Marathon or $40 5K

Road race in historic Griffith Park. The Half Marathon circles Wilson Harding Golf Course, the LA Zoo, the Autry Museum, bypassing horse trails and the LA River. The 5K follows along Crystal Springs Drive with wilderness views on a relatively flat course. Both races begin and end at Park Center. The EXPO will feature local product vendors, kid zone and music. Medals and prizes for top 3 finishers, male and female, Half Marathon and 5K.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Event is timed; Awards & Finisher medals; 1 free beer for each participant (21+)
