Friday wasn’t just a ceremony — it was a goodbye to one chapter and the beginning of another.
They arrived as freshmen with hopes and questions.
On Friday, they walked the stage as leaders, scholars, artists, athletes, and dreamers ready for the world. Over 800 Royals became ECR Alumni, carrying with them the pride, strength, and spirit that define ECR.
800+ graduates. One family. One legacy.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Your story is just beginning. 🎉
Welcome to the ECR Alumni Family. Once a Royal, Always a Royal! 🐻🎓

A Season Built on Heart, Grit & ECR Pride 🐻⚾️
Our Royals battled all year long, finishing 21–10 overall, 11–4 in league, and earning their spot as the #2 team in Los Angeles.
Back‑to‑back trips to Dodger Stadium, a City Section runner‑up finish, and a record 10 City Championships shows the dominance of our baseball program.
To our players, coaches, families, and fans — thank you for an unforgettable year. 💙

At ECR, we proudly recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and the importance of supporting mental health and wellness every single day. 💙
Throughout May, we’re sharing powerful messages from athletes who are helping break the stigma by speaking openly about their experiences, challenges, and the strength it takes to ask for help.
No matter what you’re facing, you are not alone. Students are always encouraged to reach out to a trusted adult, counselor, therapist, teacher, administrator, friend, or visit the Wellness Center for support. Asking for help is a sign of strength.
Together, we continue building a school community where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.

We are chasing Back-to-Back Open Division titles and Championship number 11, which would make ECR Baseball the winningest program in Los Angeles City Section history.

ECR continues to shine on the national stage! 💙
Our Academic Decathlon team earned 2nd Place at the 2026 USAD National Finals, competing against more than sixty teams from across the country.
This achievement concludes our three‑year national championship streak, reinforcing the strength and consistency of our program.
For context: the last time a non‑California school won USAD Nationals was 2002. And since 2009, every national champion has been either ECR or Granada Hills Charter. Across both programs’ full histories, our two schools have combined for 21 national championships, a legacy unmatched nationwide.
Congratulations to our incredible team — Desiree, Bryan, Ryan, Owen, Suriya, Alexander, Sophie, Tyler, and Tan — for representing ECR with excellence.
The road to National Title number 12 starts now.

At the FCCLA State Conference, 16 ECR culinary students competed and earned outstanding recognition, including Gold Seals for Tyler Hutchison, Jaidyn Triplett, Briana Limon, and Abigail Parker, as well as 7 Silver awards across multiple categories.
We also celebrate two standout C‑CAP accomplishments:
Tyler Driscoll earned a $2,500 scholarship, and Maya Basta received the Top Junior Award, a $1,000 scholarship, and a trip to New York City.🎉
We are extremely proud of our Culinary Arts Program!
