Reminder! **G, as the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Lead Agency, released a Notice of Preparation(NOP) of a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) for Connect SoCal 2024 (2024-2050 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy) on Oct. 17, for a 30-day public review and comment period ending on Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. (PST). S**G will be hosting two virtual public scoping meetings for the NOP to receive verbal comments, each providing the same content, on Nov. 9 and 10. **G Regional Council Member and Past President, City of Ontario, California - Government Mayor Pro Tem and President of the Ontario International Airport Authority, Alan Wapner, announced at the Annual State of the Ontario International Airport that both the current Federal Inspection Station Facility and future third terminal will be named the Dianne Feinstein International Terminal. Congrats to Senator Dianne Feinstein, who helped bring together leaders from the Inland Empire and Los Angeles to reach an agreement transferring ownership back to Ontario!

We had a great time participating alongside elected and community leaders at California State University, Fullerton's first annual Energy and Sustainability Summit.

A number of federal, state and elected officials were represented, and S**G Senior Regional Planner Dr. Alison Linder presented on a panel with former S**G President and Commissioner from the California Transportation Commission, Michele Martinez, and councilmembers from City Of Buena Park and City of Fullerton, CA Government.
