New Directions for Youth (NDY) is a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) non-profit youth development organization that provides direct services and programs to at-risk youth and families throughout the San Fernando Valley an in the greater Los Angeles area. Since its founding in 1976, NDY has provided services – free of charge – to more than 90,000 individuals.

Since 1975, NDY has served as a vital resource for at-risk youth and their families, offering a wide range of direct services and programs. Each year, we support over 3,000 individuals, and to date, we’ve made a difference in the lives of more than 200,000 youth. Our work is centered in communities that need us most—North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Panorama City, North Hills, Pacoima’s Economic Enterprise Zone, Sun Valley, and surrounding neighborhoods—where many families face economic hardship and limited access to services.

We are excited to invite you to the Youth Development Network Summer Kickoff Event in the San Fernando Valley, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Department of Youth Development. Join us in celebrating community and youth empowerment with a free, all-ages event full of fun and valuable resources. The event will feature live music, free food, youth performances, and creative workshops.
