During his official visit to Los Angeles today, Minister of Foreign Affairs , together with Consul General of Israel to the Pacific Southwest .bachar , met with senior leaders from across the entertainment industry.

The discussion focused on addressing the rise of antisemitism in Hollywood, expanding opportunities for film and television production in Israel, and strengthening efforts to share Israel’s story with audiences around the world.

We are grateful to all who participated for their support, partnership, and commitment to ensuring that Israeli voices and stories continue to be heard on the global stage.

We mourn the loss of Staff Sergeant Michael Tyukin, 21, from Ashkelon, a combat soldier in the 846th Givati Reconnaissance Battalion, Givati Brigade who fell during combat in southern Lebanon.

Our hearts are with his family and loved ones.

Consul for Public Diplomacy was honored to represent the Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Southwest at the official Memorial Day Ceremony held at Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Together with dignitaries, bereaved families, veterans, and members of the Los Angeles Consular Corps, we paid tribute to the fallen heroes and honored all those who have served- past and present.

On this day of remembrance, we stand united in gratitude, respect, and shared values.
