Thank you to all of our amazing community partners, Union Station personnel, Amtrak, Starbucks, Metro Transit Security, Allied Security and everyone from our community who joined us for our very first National Night Out at Union Station!

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet community members, connect with transit riders, share resources and continue building relationships that help keep our transit system safe and welcoming for all.

We look forward to making this an annual tradition and hope to see you all again next year!

LAPD Transit Services Division would like to honor Deputy Chief Donald Graham for an incredible 30 years with the Los Angeles Police Department.

For his final day in uniform, Chief Graham chose to do what he’s always done best serve the community. He spent the day riding Metro trains, speaking with riders, and connecting with the public. He was also joined by his new partners at the Los Angeles School Police Department.

It was the perfect sendoff for a leader who never stopped showing up for the people of Los Angeles.

Thank you for your service, Chief. Wishing you nothing but continued success and fulfillment in your next chapter!

In addition to bringing smiles to families, these efforts reinforced our ongoing commitment to community safety and engagement by fostering positive interactions, building trust, and maintaining a visible presence within the transit system. Through meaningful outreach and collaboration, LAPD Transit Services Division remains dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment for all riders, especially during the holiday season 🎄🚔
