This is a great opportunity for community members to connect and celebrate their accomplishments towards better in Long Beach. We are excited to spread the word and promote this event! 🎉
Since August, we’ve been raising funds through a button fundraiser to celebrate tenants and their amazing commitment in fighting for justice, tenant rights, and their communities.
The organizing of the 64th St., Daisy, and Orange Resistances has led to the adoption of an unprecedented amount of tenant protections in the City of Long Beach. It is only right that we honor these fearless warriors.
Please come out on December 11th from 1-5 PM at Veteran’s Park and let’s get to know each other. This is a potluck style gathering with various activities spread throughout. We’ll have an alter to honor our collective struggle these past two years, activities for kids, and have the opportunity to hear from one another.

Happy ! Today, we wanted to call out all of the organizations the supported our families during . There are way too many to name, but partners like Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles, North Valley Caring Services and Special Needs Network did amazing work collecting clothes, toys and supplies for community members in need.
