LA THEATRE FOLKS::: A fierce new grassroots group that we are working with is collecting data on sexual harassment and abuse in the LA Theater community. Please fill out this super brief survey created by the badasses at Project Nongenue and pass it on to others. It’s anonymous and short - it will literally take you 5 mins to fill it out and share it on your social media. This will go a long way in a first step where we collect come data about the current climate in LA theatre, as we work to shift the culture towards consent

A message from our Artistic Director Carly D. Weckstein:
I'm so excited to share that I am directing a production of Homeward LA - a city-wide movement that uses theatre to amplify the stories of folks who have experienced homelessness, to raise awareness, empathy and money for the homeless crisis here in our home city of Los Angeles.
Any of y'all who live in LA know how deeply this problem effects our city. There are 58,000 people in LA County who do not have a fixed, regular, or adequate place to sleep. All of us pass by folks without a home every single day here.
There will be about 25 different productions of Homeward LA all around the city from April 13-22. The script consists of a series of 12 monologues, each of which are true stories of people who have experienced homelessness, and worked with a playwright to share a piece of their life.
All ticket sales go directly to The Midnight Mission, an incredible organization on Skid Row that I had the pleasure of visiting today. In additions to providing meals and a safe space, they offer a bridge to self-sufficiency for people experiencing homelessness through recovery services, counseling, education, training, workforce development and continued care services.
Our production, produced by the amazing Becky Poole, will have 2 performances at HELA Productions:
MONDAY APRIL 16 @ 8pm
TUESDAY APRIL 17 @ 8pm
