A huge thank you to our new Book Fair Chair, Erica Alden (second from right), for making one of Franklin’s favorite annual events a smashing success! Erica and many parent volunteers set up and disassembled the fair, and helped students, teachers, and fellow parents shop for and purchase books and other merchandise. Recess, lunchtime, and after-school sales were especially busy this year as kids popped into the auditorium to beat the heat!

Hey Foxes! Let’s join together to make an unforgettable Centennial Celebration! 🦊💯🎉 With LIVE screen printing on tees and totes, bites and delights from our incredible local restaurants, student performances, as well as new building tours. But we need your help to get ready for the Party! Please click the link below to help out.

To pull off such a special evening, we need many volunteers to help set-up, tend to food and drink stations, and pack up at the event’s conclusion. You do not need to be a cleared volunteer to assist. Please note that shifts during the event are only 30 minutes long, allowing volunteers to enjoy the majority of the evening as attendees. We are living in a time when we need one another more than ever—for our own mental health and for the well-being of our community. 🦊💕 During the week of October 12-16 our children will learn skills for building healthy relationships: how to make new friends, navigate conflict, bridge differences, repair ruptures, and accept people for who they are.

We are so appreciative that many parents from our community have volunteered to join in the SEL learning - parents modeling community engagement is key. We are fortunate to belong to a community that recognizes the importance of values like kindness toward others, self-compassion, and inclusion.

On Wednesday please join us in celebrating our Franklin commUNITY. Say “Hello” to parents and staff at drop off. Encourage your kiddos to reach out and make new friends. Drop a thank you email to your teacher or room parent. We are in this together!
