Gardner Street’s Annual Open House and Art Show is this Wednesday! Art show begins at 3 and classrooms will open at 330. Come view all of our artists’ beautiful work - from the studio to the classroom - and see how students learn about the artists that are all around us. We hope to spy a lot of parents and prospective families there!

Save the Date! We’re going to party hard for Gardner’s 115th birthday! We hope Gardner families past, present and future will join us for food and fun to celebrate all the years that Gardner has been a neighborhood staple. LA has changed a lot in the last 115 years, but Gardner has always been the same sweet little school, full of great kids.

IT’S MONSTER SEASON! And this Friday, all of our kids are walking three miles to raise money for our PE, art, music, garden and cooking programs! We need every family to participate by making a quick page for their kids and sending it out to friends and family. People love to donate a few bucks to little monsters! We’re trying to reach our MONSTER goal of $28k - or $80 per kid! So get those pages made (link is in our stories and bio!) and let’s get walkin’!

Our Black Community Affinity Group hosted our second annual Career Day Panel and it was a wild success thanks to our phenomenal speakers! They are inspiring the next generation of kids of all colors, to follow their talents and dreams! Big ups to our panel! 👏🏿

Few hours left of Giving Tuesday! Its the day when we’re supposed to give to organizations whose missions we support. And while there are many incredible non-profits doing wonderful work in the world, we just want to remind you of the wonderful work that’s happening right here at Gardner - and how much support we still need.
It is only with your donations that we are able to fund our remarkable music, arts and PE programs, our edible garden and our science lab. These are not funded by the district and we need YOU to help us keep them alive and thriving! So help our little community arts school by making a donation through the link below.
