Here are a few photos of our musicians during the rehearsal! We are all getting ready for our PMC Spring Concert tomorrow (March 28) at 4:00 PM at USC (Alfred Newman Recital Hall)! The concert will feature THE WORLD PREMIERE 🌍 of Marcel Chyrzynski’s newest piece titled “Death Valley”

What a concert it was! 👏 The Zarębski Piano Duo (Grzegorz Mania & Piotr Różański) performed a beautiful concert last Saturday in the Westoon Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library Their program included works by Brahms and Dvorak as well as Polish composers: Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk, Hanna Kulenty, Anna Borucka ans Maurycy Moszkowski.

Blending beloved Polish favorites by Chopin and Paderewski with a lesser known work by Aleksander Tansman and a world premiere by Marcel Chyrzynski this year’s PMC Spring Concert is not to be missed! The concert will feature the Cracow Duo comprised of the cellist Jan Kalinowski and pianist Marek Szlezer. Mark your calendars - March 28, 4:00 PM in the USC Newman Recital Hall.

Our guests from Poland will be joined by peecussionist David C. Lee and flutist Antonina Styczeń

It’s TODAY! 🎶 Join the USC Polish Music Center this evening (Sunday, Oct. 19) for a lecture-recital honoring composer Szymon Laks. The concert will feature pianist Dr. Grzegorz Mania ans musicians from USC. Free admission!

RSVP TODAY! 🎟️ Join the USC Polish Music Center on Sunday, Oct. 19 for a day honoring composer Szymon Laks. Events include Witness to Truth at the Museum of Tolerance (1 PM) and the 2025 Paderewski Lecture-Recital at USC (7 PM), featuring pianist Grzegorz Mania and USC musicians in a program of works by Laks. Both events are free with RSVP. Celebrate Laks’s legacy and the PMC’s 40th anniversary - reception to follow the recital.

The Paderewski Festival in Paso Robles announces the Summer 2025 Cultural Exchange Program! This year, the festival will send two students -winners of the annual Youth Piano Competition in Paso Robles- to on all-expanses paid study visit to Poland! Congratulations to this year’s participants: Ellen Butler (17) and Sela Yarbrough (16) 👏

🎹 Piano Recital in Gorlice 🇵🇱

On July 6, at 5:00 PM local time in Poland, Ellen Butler and Sela Yarbrough will perform a piano recital at the Galeria Stuki Dwór Karwacjanów. This recital organized in collaboration with the Muzeum Dwory Karwacjanow i Gladyszow is a part of the Paderewski Festival Youth Cultural Exchange program.

If you are in the San Diego area, make sure to stop by the Balboa Park on Saturday, May 10th to witness a unique opera! Polish composer, Wojtek Blecharz transforms the park into a stage and invites you to be part od the magic. Experience this free, immersive event where music and movement unfold all around you. The event starts at 4:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM.

Note: to fully experience this work, bring your own headphones and a smartphone.

Today, pianist Aron Kallay will perform a concert in Los Angeles titled Friends and Family. The program includes two new commissions including the World Premiere of Marek Zebrowski’s “Capriccio notturno.” Also on the program is “Analysis of a Dream” by Daniel Allas, written in memory of pianist and composer, Sarah Gibson.
