Organized in 1994 by local residents seeking to improve their quality of life, Elysian Valley United continues to act as an agent of change and growth for Northeast Los Angeles. Programs and services include Central High School, Kids United after-school homework center, College Study Hall, KEVU Radio, The People's Library, Average Joe's Gym, The Sweat Box spin room, and 15 computer multimedia center.
