The next Rhino Rumble bounty has been placed, and it’s on Ahmed Karrim.

“I have never once beaten Ahmed at the table. Not even with aces in my hand. Though to be fair, he has more poker skill in his left pinky finger than I have in my entire body.”
— Shannon Elizabeth

Some players don’t just win hands. They make you remember the hand you lost. Ahmed is one of those players. Difficult to read, always present at the crucial moments, and no stranger to deep runs. He reached the final table at the first Rhino Rumble Poker Championship, and now he’s back as our bounty for the second year running.

“The more you give, the more you get.”
— Ahmed Karrim

The Rhino Rumble brings celebrities, high-stakes players, and passionate supporters together in one room, all playing for something bigger than the game itself.

The Shannon Elizabeth Foundation rescues, rehabilitates, and protects endangered wildlife, conserving habitats and creating lasting impact for future generations.

🃏 A bounty is waiting.
🦏 A mission is calling.

Bust them out or bust out trying. 🦏

The first bounty has been placed, and she is .

She taught herself poker from a book gifted as a joke. Then she used it to make the final table of the WPT Celebrity Invitational in 2008 and, in 2010, finished 3rd.
She doesn't bluff. She doesn't need to. And now Shannon Elizabeth has put a bounty on her head.

Here’s how it works:
Shannon has placed extraordinary individuals at the Rhino Rumble table. Be the first to knock them out of the tournament, and their bounty is yours.
A prize within the prize, for the boldest player in the room.

Some journeys change you forever.

Sometimes, it starts with a single moment. One you can’t unsee, and can’t walk away from.

What follows is a choice: to step closer, to stay, and to do more.

That choice continues to shape everything that followed. From building something real on the ground, to supporting the people and places that protect what remains.

Today, that commitment lives on through every life in our care, and every step taken alongside those on the frontlines.

Some moments never really leave you.

Over the past months, much of the work at the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation has taken place quietly, as it often does in conservation.
Behind the scenes, the focus has remained on consistent care, responsible stewardship, and strengthening the foundations that support long-term impact.

These quieter periods are often where the most meaningful progress happens, refining processes, deepening purpose, and preparing for what comes next. As we re-engage across our platforms, we look forward to sharing more of this journey, not only the visible moments, but the ongoing work that makes them possible.

Thank you to those who continue to support wildlife protection in both the seen and unseen ways. 🦏🌿 🤍

This mother and her newborn nyala calf represent everything we work for:
protection, renewal, and the hope of a safer future for generations still to come.
From the early days of Animal Avengers (2001) to the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation today, and into everything we’re building at Khusela — we are endlessly grateful for our community.
Thank you for loving the wild with us.
Thank you for standing for the animals.

It’s official… Munu has spoken! 🦏💚
Today we’re revealing some of his absolute favorite snacks — and yes, he’s got great taste. From crunchy treats to leafy goodness, this boy knows what he loves!

Who knew conservation could be this delicious? 🌳

What is your favorite snack?? Please share in the comments. 🍿

Did you know? Nyala are shy, forest-dwelling antelopes native to southern Africa. At Khusela Sanctuary, these two young males enjoy safe access to fresh water — a small but vital part of their survival. 🦌💧

While Munu is the heart of our sanctuary, our mission extends beyond one rhino. Protecting habitat ensures that all wildlife can thrive. Every action we take helps create a healthier, more connected ecosystem for future generations.

🌿 To support our work, you can donate securely on our website at shannonelizabeth.org or give via Fidelity Charitable using an electronic funds transfer (EFT).
