Sad yet beautiful all at the same time ๐We said our goodbyes to dear sweet Val today. I think he sent us perfect weather and deer for his day...or maybe that was him checking up on all of us. The amount of love and support today said it all. It doesn't matter what we're going through in this world...we are family and we take care of each other ๐๐๐ Goodbye for now sweet friend.

These Two True Blue Heroes Were Ambushed & Murdered In The Line Of Duty*
Rest In Peace Sergeant Noel Ramirez
-and- Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey
Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office, Florida
End Of Watch: April 19, 2018
Sergeant Noel Ramirez, 29, and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey, 25, were ambushed, shot, and killed while inside of a restaurant by a coward.(details within).
Born with a soul that has Courage to wear the Badge, Sgt. Ramirez had been Saving, Serving, and Protecting the People as a Law Enforcement Officer for about seven years, the last two serving with the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. Brother Noel first served with the Levy County Sheriff's Office and the Williston Police Department. He was well-known for his incredibly infectious smile.
May we always remember how Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey Lived As Only A Hero Could.
May we never forget how their lives were taken so coldly and with malice, simply because they had the courage to wear the Badge ...
On Thursday, April 19, 2018, approximately 1500hours, Sgt. Ramirez and Deputy Lindsey were inside the Ace China Restaurant off State Road 26 in downtown Trenton when a gunman walked up to the business window, saw the Deputies, and then entered the restaurant. (It was initially thought the gunman shot through the window of the business)
The gunman then targeted, ambushed, and shot both Deputies who were on duty and in uniform.
The Deputies were unable to return fire.
911 calls came flooding in and as fellow Deputies arrived on scene, they found the shooter deceased outside of the business in his vehicle, dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The responding officers found the Deputies inside the restaurant.
Sergeant Ramirez leaves behind his beloved bride, young children, and family.
Deputy Lindsey leaves behind his beloved family and girlfriend.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the entire extended Ramirez and Lindsey families, the Men and Women of the Gilchrist County SO, to all first-responders on scene and who came running to assist, to the citizens who witnessed this ambush, and to all whom have had the pleasure and the privilege of knowing and working along side these two True Blue Heroes.
Our Brothers, as you now patrol the Streets of Heaven may you continue your vigilant watch over us all as we carry on in the battles to come ... In Our Brothers' Honor. We thank you for your service and for your sacrifices. We thank you for your lives. Job Well Done Sirs.
Rest In Peace Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Noel Lindsey ... We Have The Watch From Here. SALUTE!
