The panelists shared updates on renter rights initiatives in their respective cities nationwide.

Stakeholders, tenant organizations (including CES), renters and elected officials from across the United States will convene in New York City to discuss strategies to advance rent control /stabilization nationwide; stop the influence of corporate landlords; delineate opportunities locally and nationally to promote rent stabilization; reverse statewide bans and partial bans on rent control; winning and defending rent control; empowering tenants and connecting homelessness, HUD subsidized tenant campaigns with the rent control movement.
